Judges 2:19

King James Version (1769 Blayney revision, with Apocrypha) · Berean Standard Bible

And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves (note: Or, were corrupt) more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own (note: Heb. they let nothing fall of their) doings, nor from their stubborn way.
But when the judge died, the Israelites became even more corrupt than their fathers, going after other gods to serve them and bow down to them. They would not give up their evil practices and stubborn ways.
