καὶ εἰσήγαγεν αὐτὸν ὁ γαμβρὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ πατὴρ τῆς νεάνιδος καὶ ἐκάθισεν μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ ἡμέρας τρεῖς καὶ ἔφαγον καὶ ἔπιον καὶ ὕπνωσαν ἐκεῖ
His father-in-law, the girl’s father, persuaded him to stay, so he remained with him three days, eating, drinking, and lodging there.
