καὶ ἐκοίμισεν Δαλειδὰ τὸν Σαμψὼν ἐπὶ τὰ γόνατα αὐτῆς, καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ἄνδρα καὶ ἐξύρησεν τὰς ἑπτὰ σειρὰς τῆς κεφαλῆς αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἤρξατο ταπεινῶσαι αὐτόν, καὶ ἀπέστη ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτοῦ ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ.
And having lulled him to sleep on her lap, she called a man to shave off the seven braids of his head. In this way she began to subdue him (note: Hebrew; some LXX manuscripts he began to grow weak), and his strength left him.
