Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth (note: Heb. that which cometh forth shall come forth) of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord’s, and I will offer it (note: Or, I will offer it, etc.) up for a burnt offering.
then whatever comes out the door of my house to greet me on my triumphant return from the Ammonites will belong to the LORD, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.”
