וַיִּשְׁפֹּט֙ אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְשָׁלֹ֖שׁ שָׁנָ֑ה וַיָּ֖מָת וַיִּקָּבֵ֥ר בְּשָׁמִֽיר׃פ
Tola judged (note: Or governed or led; here and throughout the book of Judges) Israel twenty-three years, and when he died, he was buried in Shamir.
