καὶ εἶπαν τῷ Ἰεφθάε Δεῦρο καὶ ἔσῃ ἡμὶν εἰς ἀρχηγόν, καὶ παραταξώμεθα πρὸς υἱοὺς Ἀμμών.
“Come,” they said, “be our commander, so that we can fight against the Ammonites.”
