Dixitque Dominus ad Josue : Hodie abstuli opprobrium Ægypti a vobis. Vocatumque est nomen loci illius Galgala, usque in præsentem diem.
Then the LORD said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So that place has been called Gilgal (note: Gilgal sounds like the Hebrew for roll.) to this day.
