Und der HErr sprach zu Josua: Heute habe ich die Schande Ägyptens von euch gewendet. Und diese Stätte ward Gilgal genannt bis auf diesen Tag.
Then the LORD said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So that place has been called Gilgal (note: Gilgal sounds like the Hebrew for roll.) to this day.
