וַֽיִּקְרְא֛וּ בְּנֵי־ רְאוּבֵ֥ן וּבְנֵי־ גָ֖ד לַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ כִּ֣י עֵ֥ד הוּא֙ בֵּֽינֹתֵ֔ינוּ כִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃פ
So the Reubenites and Gadites named the altar Witness, for they said, “It is a witness between us that the LORD is God.”
