So by the waters of Merom, Joshua and his whole army came upon them suddenly and attacked them,
וַיָּבֹ֣א יְהוֹשֻׁ֡עַ וְכָל־ עַם֩ הַמִּלְחָמָ֨ה עִמּ֧וֹ עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם עַל־ מֵ֥י מֵר֖וֹם פִּתְאֹ֑ם וַֽיִּפְּל֖וּ בָּהֶֽם׃
