Hæc autem scripta sunt ut credatis, quia Jesus est Christus Filius Dei : et ut credentes, vitam habeatis in nomine ejus.
But these are written so that you may believe (note: Or may continue to believe) that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.
