ἐκεῖ οὖν διὰ τὴν Παρασκευὴν τῶν Ἰουδαίων ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἦν τὸ μνημεῖον ἔθηκαν τὸν Ἰησοῦν
And because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and the tomb was nearby, they placed Jesus there.
