εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος πρὸς τὸν διάβολον Προσέσχες οὖν τῷ θεράποντί μου Ἰὼβ; ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν κατʼ αὐτὸν τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ἄνθρωπος ἄκακος, ἀληθινός, ἄμεμπτος, θεοσεβής, ἀπεχόμενος ἀπὸ παντὸς κακοῦ. οὐ δὲ εἶπας τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ διὰ κενῆς ἀπολέοαι ἔτι δὲ ἔχεται ἀκακίας· σὺ δὲ εἶπας τὰ ἁπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ κενῆς ἀπολέσαι.
Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one on earth like him, a man who is blameless and upright, who fears God and shuns evil. He still retains his integrity, even though you incited Me against him to ruin him without cause.”
