אֲבָנִ֤ים׀ שָׁ֥חֲקוּ מַ֗יִם תִּשְׁטֹֽף־ סְפִיחֶ֥יהָ עֲפַר־ אָ֑רֶץ וְתִקְוַ֖ת אֱנ֣וֹשׁ הֶאֱבַֽדְתָּ׃
as water wears away the stones and torrents wash away the soil, so You destroy a man’s hope.
