καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσάν μου καὶ οὐ προσέσχεν τὸ οὖς αὐτῶν ἀλλ᾿ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν τοῖς ἐνθυμήμασιν τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν τῆς κακῆς καὶ ἐγενήθησαν εἰς τὰ ὄπισθεν καὶ οὐκ εἰς τὰ ἔμπροσθεν
Yet they did not listen or incline their ear, but they followed the stubborn inclinations of their own evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.
