Then he put out (note: Heb. blinded) the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains (note: Or, fetters), and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison (note: Heb. house of the wards) till the day of his death.
Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon, where he kept him in custody until his dying day.
