Arcum et scutum apprehendent : crudeles sunt, et immisericordes : vox eorum quasi mare sonabit, et super equos ascendent, sicut vir paratus ad prælium contra te, filia Babylon.
They grasp the bow and spear (note: Or javelin); they are cruel and merciless. Their voice roars like the sea, and they ride upon horses, lined up like men in formation against you, O Daughter of Babylon.
