Go up against the land of Merathaim (note: That is, Double rebellion.), even against it, And against the inhabitants of Pekod (note: That is, Visitation.); Waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, And do according to all that I have commanded thee.
Go up against the land of Merathaim, and against the residents of Pekod. Kill them (note: LXX Avenge, O sword,) and devote them to destruction. Do all that I have commanded you,” declares the LORD.
