This is the word that the LORD spoke through Jeremiah the prophet concerning Babylon and the land of the Chaldeans (note: That is, the Babylonians; also in verses 8, 25, 35, and 45):
הַדָּבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־ בָּבֶ֖ל אֶל־ אֶ֣רֶץ כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים בְּיַ֖ד יִרְמְיָ֥הוּ הַנָּבִֽיא׃
