Jeremiah told them, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to whom you sent me to present your petition:
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר שְׁלַחְתֶּ֤ם אֹתִי֙ אֵלָ֔יו לְהַפִּ֥יל תְּחִנַּתְכֶ֖ם לְפָנָֽיו׃
