Μειχαίας ὁ Μωραθείτης ἦν ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις Ἐζεκίου βασιλέως Ἰούδα καὶ εἶπεν παντὶ τῷ λαῷ Ἰούδα Οὕτως εἶπεν Κύριος Σειὼν ὡς ἀγρὸς ἀροτριαθήσεται, καὶ Ἰερουσαλὴμ εἰς ἄβατον ἔσται, καὶ τὸ ὄρος τοῦ οἴκου εἰς ἄλσος δρυμοῦ.

“Micah the Moreshite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah and told all the people of Judah that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, and the temple mount a wooded ridge (note: Micah 3:12).’
nor will the priests who are Levites ever fail to have a man before Me to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to present sacrifices.”
