und Zedekia, der König Judas, soll den Chaldäern nicht entrinnen, sondern ich will ihn dem König zu Babel in die Hände geben, dass er mündlich mit ihm reden und mit seinen Augen ihn sehen soll.
Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape from the hands of the Chaldeans (note: That is, the Babylonians; also in verses 5, 24, 25, 28, 29, and 43), but he will surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye.
