Hæc dicit Dominus : Vox in excelso audita est lamentationis : luctus, et fletus Rachel plorantis filios suos, et nolentis consolari super eis, quia non sunt.
This is what the LORD says: “A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more (note: Cited in Matthew 2:18).”
