ἐγὼ Κύριος ἐτάζων καρδίας καὶ δοκιμάζων νεφρούς, τοῦ δοῦναι ἑκάστῳ κατὰ τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ κατὰ τοὺς καρποὺς τῶν ἐπιτηδευμάτων αὐτοῦ.
I, the LORD, search the heart; I examine the mind (note: Hebrew kidneys) to reward a man according to his way, by what his deeds deserve.
