Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow (note: Heb. they go on), yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.
You planted them, and they have taken root. They have grown and produced fruit. You are ever on their lips, but far from their hearts (note: Hebrew their kidneys).
