εἶτα ἡ ἐπιθυμία συλλαβοῦσα τίκτει ἁμαρτίαν, ἡ δὲ ἁμαρτία ἀποτελεσθεῖσα ἀποκύει θάνατον.
Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
