Wer sie ängstete, der ängstete ihn auch; und der Engel seines Angesichts half ihnen. Er erlöste sie, darum dass er sie liebte und ihrer schonte. Er nahm sie auf und trug sie allezeit von alters her.
In all their distress, He too was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence (note: Or angel of His presence) saved them. In His love and compassion He redeemed them; He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
