Man soll dich nicht mehr die Verlassene noch dein Land eine Verwüstung heißen; sondern du sollst „Meine Lust an ihr” und dein Land „Liebes Weib” heißen: denn der HErr hat Lust an dir und dein Land hat einen lieben Mann.
No longer will you be called Forsaken (note: Hebrew Azubah), nor your land named Desolate (note: Hebrew Shemamah); but you will be called Hephzibah (note: Hephzibah means My delight is in her.), and your land Beulah (note: Beulah means married.); for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be His bride.
