Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey (note: Or, is accounted mad): and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him (note: Heb. it was evil in his eyes) that there was no judgment.
Truth is missing, and whoever turns from evil becomes prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice.
