Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens (note: Heb. the bundles of the yoke), and to let the oppressed (note: Heb. broken) go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to break the chains of wickedness, to untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and tear off every yoke?
