The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men (note: Heb. men of kindness or godliness) are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come (note: Or, from that which is evil).
The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous are taken away from the presence of evil.
