Just as many were appalled at Him (note: Syriac; Hebrew at You)—His appearance was disfigured beyond that of any man, and His form was marred beyond human likeness—
כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר שָׁמְמ֤וּ עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ רַבִּ֔ים כֵּן־ מִשְׁחַ֥ת מֵאִ֖ישׁ מַרְאֵ֑הוּ וְתֹאֲר֖וֹ מִבְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃
