Isaiah 44:19

King James Version (1769 Blayney revision, with Apocrypha) · Berean Standard Bible

And none considereth in his heart (note: Heb. setteth to his heart), neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree? (note: Heb. that which comes of a tree)
And no one considers in his heart, no one has the knowledge or insight to say, “I burned half of it in the fire, and I baked bread on its coals; I roasted meat and I ate. Shall I make something detestable with the rest of it? Shall I bow down to a block of wood?”
