Parallel
Isaiah 33:8
Clementine Vulgate · Berean Standard Bible
Dissipatæ sunt viæ, cessavit transiens per semitam : irritum factum est pactum, projecit civitates, non reputavit homines.
The highways are deserted; travel has ceased. The treaty (note: Forms of the Hebrew berit are translated in most passages as covenant.) has been broken, the witnesses (note: DSS; MT the cities) are despised, and human life is disregarded.
