φυλάσσω τὸ πρωὶ καὶ τὴν νύκτα· ἐὰν ζητῇς ζήτει, καὶ παρ’ ἐμοὶ οἴκει,
The watchman replies, “Morning has come, but also the night. If you would inquire, then inquire. Come back yet again.”
