διαθήκη γὰρ ἐπὶ νεκροῖς βεβαία ἐπεὶ μή‿ ποτε ἰσχύει ὅτε ζῇ ὁ διαθέμενος
because a will does not take effect until the one who made it has died; it cannot be executed while he is still alive.
