Πίστει Ἐνὼχ μετετέθη τοῦ μὴ ἰδεῖν θάνατον, καὶ οὐχ εὑρίσκετο, διότι μετέθηκεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεός· πρὸ γὰρ τῆς μεταθέσεως αὐτοῦ μεμαρτύρηται εὐηρεστηκέναι τῷ θεῷ·
By faith Enoch was taken up (note: Literally transferred or translated) so that he did not see death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.
