En effet, la loi, qui possède une ombre des biens à venir, et non l’exacte représentation des choses, ne peut jamais, par les mêmes sacrifices qu’on offre perpétuellement chaque année, amener les assistants à la perfection.
For the law is only a shadow of the good things to come, not the realities themselves. It can never, by the same sacrifices offered year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.
