And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination (note: Or, the whole imagination. The Hebr. word signifieth not only the imagination, but also the purposes and desires.) of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (note: Heb. every day).
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time.
