καὶ ἴδεν Κύριος ὁ θεὸς καὶ ἦν κατεφθαρμένη, ὅτι κατέφθειρεν πᾶσα σὰρξ τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
And God looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt; for all living creatures (note: Literally all flesh; similarly in verses 13, 17, and 19) on the earth had corrupted their ways.
