καὶ παρέθηκαν αὐτῷ μόνῳ, καὶ αὐτοῖς καθ’ ἑαυτούς, καὶ τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις τοῖς συνδειπνοῦσιν μετ’ αὐτοῦ καθ’ ἑαυτούς· οὐ γὰρ ἐδύναντο οἱ Αἰγήπτιοι συνεσθίειν μετὰ τῶν Ἐβραίων ἂρτους, βδέλυγμα γάρ ἐστιν τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις πᾶς ποιμὴν προβάτων.
They separately served Joseph, his brothers, and the Egyptians. They ate separately because the Egyptians would not eat with the Hebrews, since that was detestable to them.
