And the name of the second called he Ephraim (note: From a Hebrew word signifying to be fruitful,): ‘for God hath made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.’
And the second son he named Ephraim (note: Ephraim sounds like the Hebrew for making fruitful or twice fruitful.), saying, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”
