וַיִּקְרָא־ ל֣וֹ לָבָ֔ן יְגַ֖ר שָׂהֲדוּתָ֑א וְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב קָ֥רָא ל֖וֹ גַּלְעֵֽד׃
Laban called it Jegar-sahadutha, and Jacob called it Galeed (note: The Aramaic Jegar-sahadutha and the Hebrew Galeed both mean heap of witnesses.).
