So he fled with all his possessions, crossed the Euphrates (note: Hebrew the River), and headed for the hill country of Gilead.
וַיִּבְרַ֥ח הוּא֙ וְכָל־ אֲשֶׁר־ ל֔וֹ וַיָּ֖קָם וַיַּעֲבֹ֣ר אֶת־ הַנָּהָ֑ר וַיָּ֥שֶׂם אֶת־ פָּנָ֖יו הַ֥ר הַגִּלְעָֽד׃
