Then Rachel said, “God has vindicated me; He has heard my plea and given me a son.” So she named him .

וַתֹּ֤אמֶר רָחֵל֙ דָּנַ֣נִּי אֱלֹהִ֔ים וְגַם֙ שָׁמַ֣ע בְּקֹלִ֔י וַיִּתֶּן־ לִ֖י בֵּ֑ן עַל־ כֵּ֛ן קָרְאָ֥ה שְׁמ֖וֹ דָּֽן׃
