And Leah conceived, and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben; for she said: ‘Because the LORD hath looked (note: Heb. raah beonji.) upon my affliction; for now my husband will love me.’
And Leah conceived and gave birth to a son, and she named him Reuben (note: Reuben means Look, a son and also sounds like the Hebrew for He has seen my misery.), for she said, “The LORD has seen my affliction. Surely my husband will love me now.”
