And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I (note: Heb. behold me), my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb (note: Or, kid) for a burnt offering?
Then Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” “Here I am, my son,” he replied. “The fire and the wood are here,” said Isaac, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”
