וַאֲבִימֶ֕לֶךְ לֹ֥א קָרַ֖ב אֵלֶ֑יהָ וַיֹּאמַ֕ר אֲדֹנָ֕י הֲג֥וֹי גַּם־ צַדִּ֖יק תַּהֲרֹֽג׃
Now Abimelech had not gone near her, so he replied, “Lord, would You destroy a nation even though it is innocent?
