And she called the name of the LORD that spoke unto her, Thou art a God (note: Heb. El roi.) of seeing; for she said: ‘Have I even here seen Him that seeth Me?’
So Hagar gave this name to the LORD who had spoken to her: “You are the God who sees me (note: Hebrew El-Roi),” for she said, “Here I have seen the One who sees me!”
