καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου ἰδοὺ σὺ ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχεις, καὶ τέξῃ υἱόν, καὶ κολέσεις τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἰσμαήλ, ὅτι ἐπήκουσεν κύριος τῆ ταπεινώσει σου.
The angel of the LORD proceeded: “Behold, you have conceived and will bear a son. And you shall name him Ishmael (note: Ishmael means God hears.), for the LORD has heard your cry of affliction.
